This has been a furious week of scrubbing and polishing over at Early Worm.
We’ve been focusing all our work this week on “Mascot Rugby League”. It’s due next week, and as of writing this blog post, the team are currently pulling an all nighter to get it done.
Our sweet new title screen, courtesy of Lisa.
Today we teamed up with Ryan Sanders, who helped us record sound effects and voice acting for the game.
We all had some serious crazy fun recording ourselves for both individual sfx and crowd sfx!
As well as group stuff, we’ve been pushing hard in our own niches.
Ceri has been making sure everyone is on track, as well as keeping in touch with our contractors, AIE staff and general marketing/PR.
Lisa is being held hostag- er, responsible, for GUI and particle FX, as well as our splash screen and icons. As you can see, she is very happy about this.
When he’s not being a manly stud pulling poses, Josh is ironing out the mechanics and core gameplay for MRL.
Mitch has been pulling CRAZY amounts of hours and all-nighters getting our character rigs and animations to a professional standard. He’s not dead… Yet!
These gaunt, screaming faces are courtesy of our evil mastermind, Laura- she’s been doing all the modelling and texturing for MRL.
And finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for- a beta gameplay video!
(no audio just yet, we’re putting that all in as of posting, so stay tuned for our next update!)
The Early Worm catches the bird.
